Ride #1 - How I started this journey

Between Family, Work and life in general, sometimes I find it hard to find time for myself.  And for me, that means taking a ride on my Pro Street Breakout, going to the range, or just chillin' and working around the yard.

But for rides in particular, I wanted to come up with some good destinations, and not just meandering randomly (which does have it's own merit's as well).  So I decided to leave fate in fates hand (sort of).  I decided to use Google Maps, and just type in "scenic spot", zooming in/out based on how much time I have.   

So living in NW suburbs of Chicago, ride number 1 was too Knute Olson, Jr. Forest Preserve.  I had never heard of it... but that is what Google Maps directed me too.  So here are a few pics.  Required taking a brief break from riding, walking a 1-mile trail.  Interesting little park.  

Next ride?  Who knows!  We will see...
